Ok, I gave Armada a chance. I watched up to episode 3.
I'm sorry, but it's way too kiddy and repetitive. Find the Mini-Cons! Oh God, don't let Megatron find them! Ooooohhh!!! Um, no.
Really awesome concept, but really bad execution.
I'm afraid the only thing I liked about Armada were Megatron's and Starscream's designs, and Megatron's voice.
And seriously, those kids are re-tard-ed. If I was Optimus Prime I'd be like, STFU, give me the Mini-Cons, and then you can go on with your pathetic little lives. I mean, God, 12 or not, kids that age are not that fucking stupid. I was not that stupid at 12. Sure, maybe a little immature, hyper, and silly, but I wasn't stupid. Let's see... at 12 I was in... end of 6th grade, most of 7th grade. Uh... That was the best year of my entire academic career so far. That was the year I started writing. My first story was over 100 pages, and I was 12 when I wrote it, and aside from the beginning lacking only because I had just started writing, that story wasn't that damn bad either. STUPID SHOW WRITERS AND THEIR STEREOTYPICAL VIEWS OF CHILDREN. NOT ALL CHILDREN ARE FUCKTARDS, OK?! Well, actually, in America most of them are fucktards, but I won't get in to that.
The kids in Armada are not 12!! They act like 8 year olds! GEEZ, GET YOUR AGES STRAIGHT YOU DOUCHES!
Also, the animation bugged the hell out of me. The transformations were like fucking Sailor Moon- no, actually, they beat Sailor Moon in obnoxiousness because they actually managed to be longer with all the fucking Mini-Con features and crap. C'MON, I DON'T WANT TO WATCH YOU TRANSFORM FOR FIVE MINUTES WHEN I COULD BE SEEING SOME ACTION. And seriously, if transformations took that fucking long, I think every Transformer would have died because they just would have picked each other off while they were transforming.
As for the actual animation... They made the robots move like a Godzilla made of molasses in January. WTF?! They're alien robots, they're allowed to be fast and agile, people.
Ok, I'm done ranting about Armada. I like the concept of the Mini-Cons, it's just the idea was executed horribly and in a very unoriginal way. Armada fans out there, don't kill me. I don't hate Armada, it's just I think it could have been executed in a much more creative and original way. And they could have made the kids more intelligent, and less like the stereotypical dumb-little-kid-that-wants-to-be-a-hero that's in just about every cartoon in existence.

Either I've been watching Beast Wars for too long, or I'm sicker than I think.... I feel half delerious. It's like every thought process in my brain is in slow motion. It doesn't help that I have this constant ringing sound in my ears.
Ugh, my back hurts from doing nothing and I've started coughing up shit. I bet I have a sinus infection and the beginnings of pnemonia(sp?) or something, with my luck. The only good news I have is that my monthly has graciously decided to be light so far.
Oh, one other thing.
I'm sorry, but Transmetal Optimus Primal looks terrible. I like his old form better.
And BW Megatron is growing on me. He's fucking badass, and even more devious than G1 Megatron. There was this one little scene that totally got me. One of his hands (in his old form, not his Transmetal form) is replaced with the head of his T-Rex beast mode, and he was chillin' in this chair plotting while brushing the head's teeth. That made me giggle.
There was also a new Predacon that was introduced, named Inferno. He's hilarious. His programming is glitched so he thinks he's his beast mode, a fire ant. He always calls the Predacon base 'the colony,' and refers to Megatron as either 'the Royalty' or 'my Queen.' It's fucking hilarious. Megatron will be like, "Go kick some Maximal butt." And Inferno will bow and say, "As you wish, my Queen." Eehehehe!
Ok, wow, my post makes less sense than usual. And I feel really weird... I feel like the computer screen is getting bigger and eating my eyeballs. I think I should take a break from staring at the computer......

I wish, SO badly, that Transformers were real. Call me dumb and immature, but... they're just so freakin' awesome. I mean, wouldn't it be cool to turn on the news every day and instead of hearing about all the stupid terrorists and how everyone is dying in Iraq, there's another update about how the Decepticons have struck once again and Megatron stomped on Bush? I'd so not go to school next year... I'd run away to the Autobots' headquarters and be like, "Lemme help you guys! Pleeeeaaaaaaasssseeeee????!" I don't know how much of a help I'd be though, since every time I'd see Soundwave I'd probably blush and duck behind something so I wouldn't embarrass myself in front of him. I'd probably do that around Optimus Prime a lot too. And Jazz. And Megatron. And Starscream.... Fuck, I'm such a player, haha. Besides, I'm probably too much of a pacifist to be of much help, and I'm way too compassionate. I'd be stuck with Ratchet in the repair bay (not that that's a bad thing...).
And then, the Decepticons would probably figure out that I was fond of several of them and use it to their advantage -- if they weren't thoroughly disgusted that a human liked them. Megatron would probably flip a shit and then hunt me down and kill me, and Soundwave would be like, "WTF?!" and back away slowly so Megatron could squelch me. Starscream would probably act completely disgusted, but secretly he might not mind all that much, since he does think that he's the most handsome and sophisticated of the Decepticons.
Ehehehe... This is way too much fun, imagining what those guys' reactions would be if they found out a human liked them...
As for Optimus and Jazz... Optimus would probably be awkward about it, since he already has a girlfriend (Elita-One), but he'd be nice, the gentleman he is. And Jazz -- he'd just take it all in stride. Jazz would probably be the only mech to be cool about the whole thing, haha.

I am officially a fan of Beast Wars. I love that show, even though I'm only up to episode 11. DINOBOT IS AWESOME. Cheetor and Terrorsaur are pretty cool as well, along with Optimus Primal (Optimus is kinda a given though, haha).
Oh, and while I'm on the subject of Transformers... TF: Animated is kickass. The TF:A Megatron is WICKED AWESOME. And, in the most recent episode (The Elite Guard) they introduced Jazz... I think I'm in love obsessed. TF:A JAZZ IS SOOOOO COOOOOOOL. He's the coolest, hippest, chill-est person/Transformer EVER. He's awesome.
Even though there are still some things about TF:A that occasionally bug me, I like it so far. The plot is interesting enough for me to want to know what the hell is gonna happen next, although it may not be the as original as it first appeared. The Allspark shatters into pieces all over the place, and I'm guessing the Autobots and Decepticons will enter in this whole 'race against time' cliche thing to collect all the pieces before the other side does... That sounds way too much like the manga InuYasha for comfort.
Not that you needed to know, but... I went to Hot Topic today and got 3 Transformers T-shirts. That made me all happy inside. And a couple of days ago I got 2 Transformers comic books. They made me all happy inside. Transformers in general make me happy inside...

I just finished the last episode of the G1 series, and all I can say is that it was one heck of an amazing time, watching all of those episodes from start to finish. I feel like a bit of my life has been completed, hehe.
That was the best ending to a series, ever. Optimus Prime back again in all his glory, and leading the Autobots into the sunset with "The Touch" blaring in the background. I almost cried it was such an amazingly awesome ending.
And no, I don't care what you think. Transformers is the childhood I never had.
Now, I'm off to watch Beast Wars, and I'm so freaking excited. It makes the ending of the G1 Transformers even better when you know there's more to look forward to. It'll probably take me a little time to get used to Optimus Primal and the whole 3D animation, but I've heard good things about Beast Wars. I'll admit, I am a little skeptical about it, but I'm determined to keep an open mind and give it a chance. Robots having animal disguises is way too cool of a concept to just ignore anyway. ;)

For just about the first time ever, I wish I had cable TV.
There's this new Transformers Animated, and I really want to see it. The episodes that have aired so far are up on YouTube, but it's not quite the same as watching the episodes on the TV. And, I have to wait longer to see the episodes on YouTube, since it takes time to edit and post videos.
THE SERIES JUST GOT TO A GOOD PART TOO AND I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL AT LEAST SUNDAY TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT. And that's only if someone posts it on YouTube right after the episode just aired. GRAWR. Stupid Cartoon Network for being only on cable...
Transformers Animated is a kid's show. So what?! I like it. G1 Transformers is still awesome, and always will be, but TA is coolness. I'm not particularly partial to the animation style (I just don't think it works for Transformers; too stylized and curvy/human-like for alien robots), but the characters are fairly fresh and interesting.
Unfortunately, it seems (to me at least) that the people making TA were overly worried about whether the Decepticons would still be the evil bad-asses that everyone remembered, and didn't put as much effort into the Autobots. I dunno, the Autobots are still cool, it's just... they seem too much like the happy-happy-yay-yay bumbling heroes that are in just about every other show these days. I like them, heck yes (especially Prowl, he's awesome), but... I just don't feel the whole Autobot vibe with them like I did with the G1 Autobots. I don't like how they seem too much like wannabe's; G1 Autobots were never like that, they were serious about their goal and serious when it came to protecting the innocent. And they were far from bumbling, either. The TA Autobot characters just aren't as... original and inspiring as the G1 Autobots were.
I'm an Autobot at heart, but... the TA Starscream and Megatron KICK ASS. They are FREAKING AWESOME. The TA Decepticons are FREAKNG AWESOME in general. Blitzwing is just hilarious. I love him, he's great. Starscream is awesome, as always. They captured his G1 character perfectly; I wouldn't change anything about him in TA. He's still the whiny, backstabbing, sexy Starscream everyone knew and loved from G1. And Megatron... I don't even know where to start. He's just kick ass, man. He's still the wonderfully diabolical Megatron everyone loved from G1, only, somehow, even better. I don't know how they did it; they did an amazing job with Megatron's character. The voice they got for him was just, perfect. He's just so, bad, it's great. And boy, he's one smooth talker, hehe. I don't even know how to describe it... The TA Megatron is just so evil. You don't get very many good villains like that with TV shows these days. Megatron is just so bad ass, I can't help but love him.

Soundwave just arrived in the mail! You should have seen me, I was almost hysterical. My Mom was like, "Wtf yo?" It was even more funny 'cause she was holding Soundwave, still in the shipping plastic bag, and she was like. "What is this again?" I said it was a cassette player and she just looked at it again and then stared at me, totally confused, haha.
After I got Soundwave transformed and all that good stuff, I brought him to my Mom's room to show her and she was still really confused. She asked me if it did anything else and I was like, No..... And then she asked me what kind of tapes it played! LOL.
Yeah, I know I shouldn't be laughing, but still, I found it funny. And now that I think about it, it's my fault in the first place that she was confused. I told her it was tape player and then transformed it into Soundwave and told her it didn't play tapes. LOL I'm such a stupid daughter. LOLOL.
I'll have to have a photo shoot with Soundwave so you can all see him. Even though I'm 15 going on 16, Soundwave is still one freakin' awesome toy. 8D

Ok, I'm really bored, so I'll probably be posting a lot of random stuff over the course of my Spring Break....
Anyways, I was watching an episode of Transformers on YouTube (I'm making my way through all of them, hehehe), and I saw this and was like, SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEFEST.

Soundwave laughs!!! It's the cutest thing ever (shut up), even though it's creepy as hell (LOL I'm such a friggin' dork). I had to watch it fifty more times a second time and I couldn't stop giggling. I mean, yeah, it's funny if Starscream basically shoots himself, but it must be pee-your-pants funny for Soundwave to laugh at it.
It's at 5:20, if you don't want to watch the whole thing. The volume is a little wonky, so you might have to turn up your volume a lot. And, also, Soundwave's laugh is a little hard to pick out, unless you're familiar with his voice.
And I'm getting way too excited/fangirl/ftw over 5 seconds of laughter........

Anyways... Despite popular belief, gossiping, rumors, whatever, I am not dead. So sorry.
I've just been sick with a mystery cold/cough thing that won't let me sleep. Whenever I try to go to sleep, I only manage to get, say, 4 hours max of real sleep before I wake up and start coughing.... my guts out. Yeah. I hate being sick. It's nasty waking up at like, 3 in the morning and coughing up random glop/snot/shit. I came down to the kitchen just this morning and my brother glared looked at me from across his bowl of cereal and said, "You were coughing, ALL. FUCKING. NIGHT. LONG." (He didn't actually drop the F-bomb. I just put that in there because I know that was what he was thinking. I really don't blame him.) And to make matters worse, cough drops don't help. At least, the recommended dose doesn't. Maybe a major OD would help me, but I really don't want to be the first person to call the Poison Control Center and say something along the lines of "OMG I've had this douche-bag cough and the normal dose of cough drops wasn't helping me so I like, took 39485734985743.9978 at a time and now I feel like kinda high and yeeeaaahhhhhh..... Lol."
Ahem. Moving on from my ill health- holy crap my finger randomly started bleeding. IT'S A SIGN FROM GOD. Aaaaaand it really wasn't necessary to type that..... Er......
ANYWHO. I'm being so fucking random. At least, more fucking random than usual. THIS IS ME WHEN I'M SICK. FLEE IN TERROR.

The part that this picture is specifically inspired from is the first section of Megatron's Master Plan, part 2. I'll give you the videos under a LJ cut, because a) I think you should watch them, b) they'll give you a good laugh, or at least the part which inspired the picture, and c) I'm bored and command you to do my bidding.

OMG MY PRE-ORDERED OPTIMUS PRIME ARRIVED AT THE WAREHOUSE THINGY PLACE AND IS NOW ON HIS WAY HERE. OMFG YAYYYYYY. This is going to be a really, really good birthday. It'll be my sweet 16, and I'll get robots. WEWT. Soundwave and Optimus Prime are going to be my like, only two birthday presents, but oh well... It will (hopefully) just be one of those birthdays where someone asks you if you got everything you wanted for your b-day, and you'll be able to smile and say yes. Those are the best birthdays....

Soundwave is in the mail now but I had to preorder Optimus Prime. I got them from kind of a wonky online store, so I hope I'll be able to get Optimus Prime without any hassle. My Mom is gonna be hard pressed to keep me from stealing Soundwave and sticking him under my pillow when he arrives, lol. (Soundwave transforms into a cassette player, so he's relatively easy to hide, haha.)

...I actually love the way my stories turn out.
Okay, so. I had a dream a few days ago; like, Friday or something. But anyway, there was this one image that lingered in my head, distracted me all day, and demanded to be written. So I wrote it, and lo' and behold, I find that I absolutely adore it. For once. I don't know whether it's actually any good or not, but still.

Okay, I need to shut up about my obsessions. But I need to just shout it out there...
OPTIMUS PRIME IS THE SHIT. He is so amazingly awesome, it's not even funny. I saw the new TF movie that came out last July, and afterwards I could only sit and say "wow" at its awesomeness. The special effects were kick ass, the sound effects made me happy 'cause they were so awesome, and, and.... yeah. I love Optimus' voice. And his personality. And everything about him. I WANT THAT TRUCK THAT HE TRANSFORMS INTO GAH. So, yeah. I'm a loser. I watched the 2007 TF movie 7 more times, and I'm slowly working my way through the old TF cartoons. All I can say is I wish I was born in the 80's. TF is like, the childhood I never had. I would so be the freakish little boy running around in a cape, and a paper mask that is supposed to look like Optimus Prime, and I'd be running around my backyard waving my Optimus Prime action figure around and screaming "AT THE END OF THIS DAY, ONE SHALL FALL, ONE SHALL STAND" and then like, throw my Megatron action figure in the road and laugh at it as it was run over. LOL. Omg.
Yeah, I know TF isn't the most intelligent thing around, but I love it. I feel like a kid again. I keep catching myself cheering for Optimus Prime when I'm watching old G1 cartoons on YouTube. I LOVE IT. SO SHUT UP. OPTIMUS PRIME IS MY HERO.
Oh, and one last thing...
I'M GETTING THIS FOR MY 16th B-DAY AND I'M SO FREAKING EXCITED.
