Anyways; the cat went to a good home, thank goodness. So once I like sanitize the room where the stray cat was, my cat Sasha will be free again.

My brother got a new camera for his graduation present. I don't really know that much about cameras, but it's supposed to be a really good one. It even looks bad-ass. I'll be getting his old digital camera, so I'm pretty happy about that (I had to borrow his camera whenever I wanted to take any pictures).

And I have no idea why the hell I bothered to update my journal with this trivial information. I guess it's because I'm bored, and what I would like to do is go and buy something (the Animated Starscream figure, to be exact), but I always feel bad asking my mom to buy me stuff that I don't need. I wish my mofo father still gave me an allowance.... Then I could build my transformer army without feeling bad.

Ok, I'm really bored, so I'll probably be posting a lot of random stuff over the course of my Spring Break....

Anyways, I was watching an episode of Transformers on YouTube (I'm making my way through all of them, hehehe), and I saw this and was like, SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEFEST.

Soundwave laughs!!! It's the cutest thing ever (shut up), even though it's creepy as hell (LOL I'm such a friggin' dork). I had to watch it fifty more times a second time and I couldn't stop giggling. I mean, yeah, it's funny if Starscream basically shoots himself, but it must be pee-your-pants funny for Soundwave to laugh at it.
It's at 5:20, if you don't want to watch the whole thing. The volume is a little wonky, so you might have to turn up your volume a lot. And, also, Soundwave's laugh is a little hard to pick out, unless you're familiar with his voice.

And I'm getting way too excited/fangirl/ftw over 5 seconds of laughter........

Lava Lamp

It stands in repose,

glowing serenely

and dominating my bureau,

majestically nonconforming with its shiny metal base.

The lava looks more like a camel,

an irritated, green and slimy one,

sucking on its saliva so it can spit in your eye,

for disturbing its nap in the sun.

While I look at it and mutter, “I’m such a dork.”

the lump of lava does not move,

cold and congealed at the bottom

from the lamp being turned off all night.

The bulb burns patiently on,

lighting up the underside of that strange camel,

and wondering why the hell

is it under that stupid gob of goop?

I sit here and stare,

back and forth ‘tween laptop and lamp,

and wonder when that eerie green camel of snot

will stop glaring at me,

its mouth full of nasty lava-camel saliva.

I never write poems. Well, okay, occasionally  I do. But not often. Sorry for making your eyes burn and brains melt because I stink a writing poems. Inspiration + boredom = dumb poetry about my lava lamp. LOL IM A DORK. And try to ignore the wonky formatting. LJ HATES CUT AND PASTE TEXT FROM MS WORD.

So I've been doing nothing for the past... maybe three days... I don't know, I've lost track already... but I've been doing nothing except poking around LJ looking for spiffy icons. So far, I haven't had that much success, but I'll find some eventually. I'd just make my own, but all I have is Paint, and you can't do much with it except crop and draw cruddy pictures. I made my default icon, the one with Daft Punk and the flower, using Paint, and it didn't turn out too badly. It's just I could do so many cool things with Photoshop or some other nifty art program thing. :/ If you know how to crop, one can get some pretty nifty icons, but cropping can't do everything...
Now I'm going to watch Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, 'cause I can. And I'm bored out of my mind.
