Our headmaster just announced today that we have a Free Day tomorrow. A.k.a. I have NO SCHOOL! WEWT! I love Free Days. You see, the headmaster and his buddies just get together and say, "Hey! It's been a hard couple of weeks... Why not have a Free Day?!" and then announce it totally randomly with no warning to anybody. I'm being absolutely serious. That is how Free Days work, and it's awesome.
Anyways... I haven't posted for a while, and I'm feeling nice, so I'm gonna post a random story I wrote in Creative Writing a couple of weeks ago. The 'prompt' was to find a particularly inspiring passage from any book, and with it in mind start to write about anything that came to you.

Oh, and just to put it out there... If anyone knows of a wonderful Lord of the Rings fan-fiction community that I haven't yet found, please let me know! I'm afraid this won't be the last of Tolkien inspired works from me...
